Tanya Ovalle
Discovery of Learning Senior Director
Tanya Ovalle serves Discovery of Learning as the Senior Director. Tanya holds a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as an administrative credential. She has been working with children, of all ages, for the past 30 years. Tanya has worked in private schools, non-profit organizations, and the college setting in the classroom and as a member of the administrative team. Tanya has been passionate about education from the get-go and has enjoyed working with educators, parents, and community members who are like-minded. Tanya has also served as a curriculum and training specialist. She has always believed that by providing a high-quality environment and program and by implementing a respectful and engaging curriculum, children will develop a passion for life and learning!
Tanya is so thankful to be the mother of two wonderful children, Reilly and Chloe who are ages 20 and 16. They continue to teach her the true meaning of life, living each day to it’s fullest, finding humor in the little obstacles life throws your way, and to find ways to express your passions in life! Tanya’s children have also attended a combination of alternative education programs and homeschooling, even while working full time. Her hope is that these wonderful educational experiences will allow them to move into adult life with a drive to continue learning and follow their passion!
Tanya is so grateful for the opportunity to build relationships with the children, parents, and teaching staff at Discovery of Learning. She is excited to be part of this growing and loving community.
