Chelsie is the Program Director at our Hayden, ID campus.  Chelsie is an Idaho native and a veteran homeschooling mom to four.  As a young person, Chelsie enjoyed babysitting, teaching Preschool, and role-playing “school”.  The role playing and babysitting grew into a career as a Children’s Ministry Director in Seattle where Chelsie received a degree in Biblical Theology from CCBC.

Chelsie has founded and directed Nature Clubs, taught at homeschool co-ops, and has been immersed in learning about homeschooling culture since 2010.  She firmly believes that children are equipped with a natural curiosity that guides them to discovering what they need to know in their own time.

In her time away from Discovery of Learning Chelsie enjoys being with her family, serving as a birth doula & childbirth educator, crocheting, and keeping chickens.  She genuinely cares about the children and parents at the Hayden campus and is invested in coming alongside them in their homeschooling journey.
